- Dear Sir/Madam,
- I am writing to advise that even though your Club is not currently a financial member of the BMC-Leyland Australia Heritage Group, the Group has been successful in negotiating to reproduce and market the P.76 promotional film "The Carmakers" and we would be pleased if you would advise your members accordingly. Those of you with a long memory will recall that the film starred Ray Barrett, Noel Fasier, Walter Sullivan, Katy Wild, and Nick Tate in a story of industrial espionage and intrigue in the style of "Maxwell Smart". There are lots of scenes taken around the Zetland Plant and some actual footage of a P.76 Prototype on test in Western Queensland. There are interviews with a number of Company executives, and the film ends with a dramatic car chase around the factory. The film is in DVD format, and joins the list of other reproduction products available from the Heritage Group.
- Copies of this DVD are available from the undersigned. Cost is $20 each plus $3 postage. Our current Price List and Order Form is enclosed which gives details of other products available from the Heritage Group. Cheques should be made payable to BMC-Leyland Australia Heritage Group.
- Purchasers are reminded that in accordance with the terms of the Copyright, this DVD of "The Carmakers" is sold for private viewing only, and must not be copied, broadcast, or used for any commercial purpose.
- We look forward to hearing from you soon.
- P.S. In Queensland, 'The Carmakers' and our other products are available from Mountain Motor Books, Ph. (07) 3397 6845.
