- EDITOR
- GOODDAY all, sorry for the delay in mags but due to work and illness I haven't had time. I haven't been able to attend meetings REMEMBER next MONTH AUGUST 8TH IS A.G.M. and we need new committee members especially secretary, treasurer, and a editor. I will stay on but can't guarantee a mag every month due to work.
- Also some information or stories photos etc for mag would be appreciated as last month and this month all I have are the minutes.
- Is this all you want in a mag?
- That's about it for now catch you all at the A.G.M., please bring a plate of food.
- As you may be aware the Club has been seeking Liability Insurance and we have decided to go with the Australian National Motoring Association Inc. (who uses an Australian Underwriter not overseas company) The club has to join at a cost of $60.00 per year. Then every member has to pay an annual fee $20.00 each. Graham Dollisson has forwarded me the list of last years members an at this time we have more non financial members than we have paid members (30) out of 60 plus from last year at this time. When in discussion with the non-email club members please ask if they know that memberships are due.
- Insurance claims 1st club
- As of last Sunday the 13th the Newcastle based HV&NR P76 OWNERS CLUB has finished up.
- Almost 21 years. We went to the pictures saw Jonny English, then had a good lunch.
- The members have been well known through out the other clubs and most will be planing to join the other clubs.
- Would someone from QLD, Sydney and Classic club send to me the contact address for membership, cost, insurance status, so that I can pass it on to other members.
- We have most of the other clubs.
- Something to talk about at A.G.M.
- Hi everyone,
- Just thought I put a few thoughts down to highlight the clubs dilemma in the coming year.
- 1/ Committee is going to be short a Secretary and Treasurer. John and Graham are not standing again. Who do you think could or would like to do the job.
- 2/ Are we having too many meetings, and should we move the location to try encouraging other members to attend.
- 3/ What about the night, is it the best night?
- 4/ Social calendar. Have we a better way of advertising the outings. Do we make sure we move to the 4 distinct locals, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Brisbane to set outings during the year.
- 5/ Club trailer, who would like to look after it (has to be store out of the weather). Don't have any outings so why have a trailer.
- Please let me know if you have any thoughts on the subjects raised Adrian
